This old city is bustling with college students, so be wary if you're looking for peace and quiet. However, shopping is a certain advantage in the Chapel Hill area. You're close to several malls, eateries, and movies theaters, so you shouldn't get board.
From the looks of things, Chapel Hill homes are selling faster and faster to relocaters from New York. They leave the expenses of the big apple and suddenly they have money to burn in a more reasonable location. I saw this same occurrence happen when I lived in Oregon. Many of the folks from California head up for a less expensive and better quality of living. Hey, who can blame them. Why live in a shack for 2 grand a month when you can have a beautiful home for half the price. I only wish it didn't get so crowded.
Depending on what you're searching for in a house, Chapel Hill homes could be right up your alley. It's a classic college town with pretty landscaping and numerous amenities within your reach. If you're looking to buy a home or invest in Chapel Hill property, be prepared for some pretty hefty price tags. There are many fine Chapel Hill hotels around so why not come over for a few days and check things out for yourself. It really is a very desirable place to live. I know that I hope to move back there some day soon simply to be close to family and back in the place I consider home.
